Exciting news! A group of local independent businesses is forming a
“JXN Local First” campaign.
We have applied to BALLE (B usiness A lliance for L ocal L iving E conomies) to assist us in the process of organizing, educating and promoting the fact that when you shop locally you both strengthen your local economy and enhance the uniqueness and character of your community.
Spearheaded by Bridget Rothenberger (Nomad Bookhouse), Bart Hawley (JTV), Margaret Riggle (Art 634), Laura Sprague (Nomad Bookhouse) and Phil Wrzesinski (Toy House), the goal of JXN Local First is to help businesses and individuals understand the impact they can have on Jackson by looking first to locally owned businesses for their needs.
